Hunter PlantFlex Planting with the best start. The Hunter PlantFlex is designed for planting young trees in a sustainable, safe, and efficient way.
The machine is suitable for plants and trees ranging from 0.4 to 1.5 meters in height. With an average capacity of 250 to 800 plants per hour and the option to mix planting stock in the two large storage bins, the Hunter PlantFlex is highly suitable for mixed forest and nature terrain.
The comfort of the two operators has been carefully considered. The PlantFlex is equipped with two extensively adjustable and heated seats. A heating system with foot heating is available.
The key to a good start is ensuring that young trees, shrubs, and other plantings can root properly. Mulching is essential to keep the terrain clean and level for effective planting.
The soil deep tiller creates a strip of loose soil approximately 40 cm wide and up to 30 cm deep. Existing roots, branches, and shoots are maximally reduced in size.
The desired spacing between plants can be set manually. The planting distance and driving speed determine whether one or two people are needed on the PlantFlex. The maximum capacity with two operators and a planting distance of one meter is up to approximately 1,000 plants per hour.
The soil deep tiller is robustly built to handle highly variable loads.
The planting plow creates a planting furrow approximately 12 cm wide and can be hydraulically adjusted in working depth by the tractor operator to a depth of 33 cm.
The planting plowshare is made of Hardox and is adjustable to a few centimeters below the tilling depth.
The PlantFlex is modular and can be disassembled.
Operators benefit from maximum seating comfort with individually adjustable, spring-loaded seats. They are protected from rain (and falling branches) by the roof. The two plant storage bins are positioned on the sides and are adjustable for optimal working comfort.
The Isobus connection transmits data from the tractor to the PlantFlex via GPS. The GPS provides precise location data, enabling the PlantFlex to receive a signal for planting. The planting distance can be adjusted remotely. The notification can be transmitted via a light, a buzzer, or both, from the tractor to the PlantFlex. Planting with GPS ensures maximum accuracy.
